Martyn Ford stands out with his growth of 207 cm and weighing about 150 kg, however, he was not always so huge. In his youth days, a tall guy was often pranked, because he was lengthy and thin. Martyn endured this for a long time, but one day he decided to change radically.
The Story of Martyn ‘The Nightmare’ Ford
How could a lean boy become a giant bodybuilder?
There are a lot of really huge musclemen, but even against their backdrop, Martyn Ford looks like a giant. Looking at him today, it is hard to believe that twelve years ago he was an ordinary lanky boy who looked like a nerd, standing out from the crowd only with his height, which is 207 cm. During the past 12 years, Martyn experienced a real transformation. From a 70 kg lean guy, he turned into a real giant, whose weight is 147 kg. Vivid evidence of the transformation is a photo of Ford’s Instagram.
The story of the reincarnation of Ford is like the plot of a movie. The life of the young guy, professionally engaged in cricket, changed when, during the game, he was injured. His sports career as a cricket player was compromised and the experiences led to stress and a sharp weight loss. With his basketball height and weight of 70 kg, Martyn looked very depressing.
Martyn was helped to get out of the depression by a clearly stated goal, which was to return to his former form. When he managed to gain the first 5-6 kilograms, he decided not to stop at his achievements and continue to build the mass. This was the beginning of the transformation of a lanky boy into a huge hunk.
Trying to gain muscle mass, Martyn was not limited to visiting the gym. He entered the University of Sports Sciences and became a fitness coach. The efforts and fanatical nature of the athlete were not in vain and he’s got amazing capabilities. Martyn can do a row of 350 kg and a one-leg press with 750 kg.
Martyn Ford Diet
At the beginning of his transformation, the bodybuilder paid increased attention to the diet. Training programs came later. Today, Martyn spends about 250 pounds a week on food. The average person consumes about two thousand calories per day. Martyn adheres to a completely different norm, reaching seven thousand calories per day. To keep fit, the giant needs to eat literally every hour.
His diet is in the following ratio: carbohydrates – 40%, fats – 30%, proteins – 30%. Usually, it is six meals a day. For each meal, he eats from 25 to 35 grams of protein, 40 to 60 grams of carbohydrates, 10 to 15 grams of healthy fats.

Also, the athlete devotes a huge amount of time to bodybuilding research and books. According to Martyn, the key to success is the correct psychological attitude. It is more important than any food additives. Without it, it is impossible to achieve meaningful results.
“I find negativity is infectious and also very depressing. Choose friends who you admire and aspire to be like and who are positive, driven, and determined.”

The Life of Martyn Ford Today
Since his birth, Martyn has lived in the UK, in a town called West Midlands. The athlete is a happy husband and father. Every day he takes his daughter to school, where students are still horrified by the giant dad.
“My family and especially my daughter really motivate me. I will never stop trying to be all that I can be to show her how much I care for her. Being able to provide for her and set an example of a strong role model to her and many others is an amazing feeling for me.”
Martyn’s appearance seems horrendous; however, the bodybuilder has a calm and balanced nature, for which he is called good-natured. Ford is the owner of the sports gym and advises its visitors with great pleasure.
Unconventional appearance allowed Martyn to start realizing one more goal – to get on television. It should be noted that his success in this is quite good. Last year he received his first role. At the moment, the bodybuilder plays the role of the villain of “Nightmare” in the film “Undisputed 4”.
Ford himself says that his main goal is not to reach the records in the gym but to increase the body size to shock everyone with his dimensions. This is what motivates him the most.
